Joe Martinovic

Director
Joe Martinovic has dedicated his career to supporting small businesses and not for profit organisations because he sees this as the most effective way to have a positive impact. His degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Queensland gives him a strong foundation of skills and knowledge to support these organisations which are complimented by his experience in other business related activities such as marketing, website development and business processes/systems. Joe is the Centre Manager of a Community & Youth Centre in the Northern Gold Coast and was formerly the Treasurer/Accountant for the yLead Association which provides youth leadership programs to tens of thousands of young people across Australia and New Zealand. Joe’s commitment to the Life Skills Academy stems from this desire to have a positive social impact. When people attain the skills and knowledge required to achieve their goals, their goals begin to grow. By building the capacity of individuals, and by creating a community with values of growth and personal development, we support the growth and progress of our community as a whole. This is real impact.

Our passion is to create and deliver Relevant, Practical and Needed skills to our community. Too often has our education system failed us in areas outside of poetry, trigonometry or geometry. We need skills we can use in REAL LIFE! And that is exactly what we provide.
